Ekiti State Governor, Mr. Ayodele Fayose was on Sunday spotted at Johannesburg International Airport(pictured) with an aide on his way back to Nigeria where he had gone to see President Muhammadu Buhari who is presently in the former apartheid enclave attending the African Union Summit.
Fayose had wished President Buhari death in a paid advert in the run up to the presidential election, and on many occasions poured vitriolic invectives on him.
Fayose at one time during the campaign said, “Buhari will just utter some words that he had rehearsed and any attempt to bring in new words always result to confusion in his brain due to senility. That was the reason he called his running mate Osunbade instead of Osinbajo and also referred to Imo State as Ibo State.
“This is clear evidence of ill-health, old and and senility. Those packaging Buhari to achieve their personal ambition of gaining unhindered access to the wealth of Nigeria should fear God and allow this old man to take care of his health.”
However, in recent time, Fayose has made attempts to cultivate Buhari. Recently Fayose pleaded with Buhari to allow him nominate a worthy candidate to occupy a ministerial post.
