A female worshipper has been raped during an attack on a church in in Odu Village near Osogbo, the Osun State capital.
The attackers who were on a mission to kidnap the worshippers stormed the Celestial church during a vigil in the early hours of Tuesday.
In the course, they abducted 12 worshippers and raped one of them.
However, help arrived for the victims through hunters and vigilantes who responded to alarm, and caught up with the assailants.
The latter were handed over to the police and on Tuesday paraded at the State Command.
