About five Nigerians living in South Africa have suffered injury in a fresh xenophobic attack against black foreign nationals.

The renewed attack occurred in Mpumalanga Province on Tuesday.

According to President, Nigerian Union South Africa (NUSA), Mr Adetola Olubajo, no death was recorded during the incident.

The attack is coming barely few weeks after the state visit of President Muhammadu Buhari to South Africa where the issue of xenophobic attacks was discussed.

Meanwhile against the backdrop of the incident, the NIGERIA’S Consul-General in South Africa, Godwin Adama, met with the South Africa Police Command to seek for protection of Nigerians and their properties.
