Six students of Niger Delta University, Bayelsa State have died of a generator fumes that also killed a studio owner, Akpos Barakubo AKA SlimKelz.
Their sudden deaths occurred on Tuesday at Yenagoa in Amarata area.
It happened while the seven persons one of whom was SlimKelz, a popular producer also, were having a recording session in his studio and had generator on in the said apartment from night till morning.
The studio was equally remarked to lack ventilation.
Report said fumes emitting from the working generator-set was responsible for the ugly situation.
“Six of them were met stone dead while one was discovered to be unconscious and rushed to the hospital where he was pronounced dead,” sources said.
