A health worker, Umar Mohammed, has been killed at a wedding ceremony in Niger State.
Mohammed’s murder occurred on Friday in Gbegenu Area of Minna, the state capital.
Report said the victim was earlier in his workplace, a private clinic, and from there arrived at the wedding where hoodlums stabbed him to death unprovoked by him.
“He was stabbed with dagger in the head by the hoodlums about ten of them who were running riot,” sources said.
Consequently two persons have been arrested in connection with the gruesome murder of the health worker.
This, is according to the State Police Command spokesman, Wasiu Abiodun, who confirmed the incident.
