Edo State Governor Adams Oshiomhole will today set agog the state as he weds his new found lover, a Cape Verdian lady, Miss Lara Fortes, at his country home in Iyamho, Etsako West Local Government Area of the state.
His late wife, Clara and mother of his five children; Cyril, Winnie, Jane, Steve and Adams Jnr died in December, 2010 after a protracted battle with breast cancer.
Miss Lara who is from Cape Verde and in her thirties is a former model and air hostess. She was seen with Gov. Oshiomhole at the 50th birthday party of Grace Ihonvbere, wife of Secretary to the Edo State Government, Julius Ihonvbere in March in Abuja.
Expected to grace the occasion are; President-elect General Muhammadu Buhari and his wife Aisha, Gen.Ibrahim Babangida, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar, Asiwaju Bola Tinubu, National Chairman of the APC, Chief John Odigie Oyegun, Governor Rotimi Amaechi among others.
