Gossip that the Minister of Interior and former Governor of Osun State, Mr. Rauf Aregbesola, and his successor Adegboyega Oyetola, are at loggerheads has been given credence to.
Immediately Oyetola took the rein of office, rumour emerged that all was not well between him and his predecessor.
On Friday, the rumour was given wing to, following the governor and all members of his cabinet’s absence at the conferment of Aregbesola with the Amirul Waziril-Muminina by the Chief Imam of Osogbo, Sheik Musa Animasahun, at the Osogbo Central Mosque.
However, the minister speaking at the occasion dispelled the gossip saying the reason the governor was absence was because he is currently in Saudi Arabia for lesser hajj.
