Abdulrazak, who presided over the meeting, hinted that the previous government put the state in difficult strait than it was emerging, urging the party faithful to brace themselves up for a hard task.

“What we thought we knew about the rot was a child’s play. While we are still studying their huge report, it is clear we were wrong on the extent of the damage done to our state. We are in a deeper mess than we thought but we will face it and move our state forward,” the governor told the gathering.
