A group of members of the All Progressive Congress, APC, under the aegis of “Buhari/APC Anti-Corruption Support Group” has called on the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, to prosecute the National Chairman of the party, Chief John Odigie-Oyegun for alleged corrupt practices.
The group made the call in Abuja on Friday, at the EFCC office where they staged a protest during which its members carried placards with the inscriptions; “EFCC Must Probe Oyegun Now!”, “Audit APC’s Account Now”, and “Oyegun is Killing the Anti-Corruption Policy of Buhari”.
They were led by one Ishola Adeshina who further alleged that Oyegun had been running the accounts of the party without a recourse to majority of national officers of the party.
