Three undergraduates at the University of Calabar (Unical) have been kidnapped.
The victims namely, Precious Ebejin, a 200-level student of the Department of Medicine and Surgery; Ugwu Chukwuemeka, a 300-level student of the Department of Genetics and Biotechnology and Damilola Dickson, a final-year student of the same Department were abducted on Friday night at the Freedom Hostels inside the school campus.
As claimed by report, the gunmen escaped with the abducted students through the waterways.
As at the time of this publication, it’s unknown by this medium whether the kidnappers have reached out to the appropriate quarters for ransom.
However, it was gathered that the police have set to work on rescuing the victims from the grips of their abductors.
