Armed robbers on Saturday stormed Eleshin area at Apete, in Ido Local Government Area of Oyo State dispossessed residents of phones and monies at gunpoint.
Report in circulation, stated that the robbers arrived about an hour after midnight armed with dangerous weapons and a Point of Sale machine.
“They forced their victims to surrender their ATM cards and pin numbers, and in turn, cleaned out the monies in their bank accounts by transfer with the PoS,” sources narrated.
It was further gathered that some of the victims also lost phones to the marauders.
