A housewife, Auta Dogo Singe, has been taken into police custody for killing her husband in order to remarry her ex.
The incident happened in Bagudo local government area of Kebbi, according to the Commissioner of Police in the state, Garba Muhammed Danjuma, at a press briefing.
The CP stated that Auta conspired with one Garba Hassan and Sahabi Garba to kill her husband, Abdullahi Shaho, so as to remarry her ex, Garba Idris.
He said the housewife and the two men she conspired with have been arrested.
“They will soon appear in court,” Danjuma added.
