How 70-year-old LP chieftain was killed at Beer Parlour

Unpleasant details about how a chieftain of Labour Party in Isiukwuato Local Government Area of Abia State, Zachary Nmaduka, was killed has emerged.

The latter was murdered in cold blood by gunmen on Tuesday after his killers trailed him to a drinking joint at Amelechi Akpukpa where he had gone.

The incident happened around 8.00pm.

Report said the assailants numbered about ten bore various dangerous weapons including guns and let loose all on the 70-year-old.

He was also beheaded.

Their motivation remains in the realm of speculation amidst report that the septuagenerian who was the Chairman of branch chairman of Uturu Development Union, Uturu in the area, was also popular for his activism against crime and its perpetrators.
