Local hunters in conjunction with Amotekun Corps have secured the release of the abducted wife of the Chief of Staff to Ondo Governor, Chief Olugbenga Ale.
On Thursday night Chief Ale’s wife was kidnapped along the Ondo-Akure highway on her way from Lagos.
She however, regained her freedom on Saturday morning as a result of the combined efforts of hunters, members of the Amotekun Corps and other security agencies who stormed the kidnappers’ den where she was kept alongside other victims.
Unconfirmed sources said Mrs Ale was freed without a dime paid as ransom while suspects have been arrested in connection with the abduction.
Commandant of the Amotekun Corps, Chief Adetunji Adeleye, confirmed her release.
