The new minister of Interior, Ogbeni Rauf Aregbesola, said he knows next to nothing about the ministry and in for a learning time.

The former governor made this revelation on Wednesday when he paid his first visit to the ministry in Abuja while speaking with newsmen.
Aregbesola said his knowledge of the ministry’s workings was pedestrian and restricted to information he gleaned from reports in the newspapers.
His word, “My relationship with the ministry is distant. What I know about the ministry is what I read in the Newspapers.”
The minister said, however, he would come good saying: “I promise you a realistic, reasonable and commendable leadership.”
