Billionaire Aliko Dangote has pride himself on being a good fighter who has not experienced a single defeat.
“I’ve been fighting battles all my life and I have not lost one yet,” Dangote told Forbes.
The African richest man disclosed to the same medium that his $23bn Dangote Refinery project is the “biggest risk” he has taken in life, saying: “It was the biggest risk of my life. If this didn’t work, I was dead.”
He also said that Africa’s destiny is the hands of her people: “We have to build our own nation by ourselves. We have to build our own continent by ourselves, not [rely on] foreign investment.”
