Portable declared wanted for assaulting Ogun officials

The Ogun State Police Command has declared controversial singer, Habeeb Olalomi, aka Portable, wanted over allegation that he led a violent attack on government officials carrying out their lawful duties.

The lousy singer with a high controversy quotient is accused of championing the attack on
three officials from the Ogun State Ministry of Physical Planning and Urban Development, Ota Zonal Office – TPL Onabanjo Abidemi, TPL Ridwan Oyero Akinlesi.

The officials were said to have been manhandled in the line of duty while conducting an enforcement exercise at Oke-Osa, Tigbo Ilu Ota.

In other word, the victims were attacked while requesting for the approval document of a building that belongs to Portable, and consequently nine of the attackers were arrested and arraigned before the court.

Since then, the singer evaded arrest and has been seen on social media dishing out his usual indiscretions.

The Ogun State Police command has now declared him wanted.

This was the subject a statement the Command spokesperson, Omolola Odutola released, which reads partly: “Following his repeated evasion, the Ogun State Police Command has obtained a valid court order declaring him wanted.”

Odutola added: “Members of the public are strongly advised to provide any valuable information that can lead to his immediate arrest. Anyone found aiding or harbouring the suspect will face legal consequences.

“For any relevant information, citizens are encouraged to report to the nearest police station or contact the Ogun State Police Command through its official communication channels.”
