Memories of the scuffle with police attached to Ikeja City Mall, Mayokun Awodumila popular known as May D had during the week over hoverboard has continue to anger the singer.
Early in the week, the Ekiti-born hip-hop artiste who is famous for two hit singles, ‘Ile Ijo’ and ‘So Many Tinz’, had gone to Ikeja City Mall to shop on his hoverboard when police attached to the mall interrupted him, insisting shopping on hoverboard(pictured right) was not encouraged in the mall, a stance May D and the guys that came with him to the mall didn’t dig, and got into heated exchange with the security operatives.
May D took to his twitter page on Thursday full of anger and rage recounting the incident, and threatening fire and brimstone.
“I’m going to sue Ikeja City Mall for using tear gas on me just because I was riding my hoverboard. I must get to the buttom of this I swear…I’m not going to keep quiet on this…brought out a gun to shoot me for what?
“Anyway, they will say we’re in naija and nothing will happen; no wonder peeps don’t like mainland.
“They used tear gas on me and assaulted me; even almost shot me just for using my hoverboard at Shoprite…what illiterates,” May D swore at workers and owners of Ikeja City Mall.
