What I learnt from Tinubu’s wife — Actor Saidi Balogun

Nollywood actor Saidi Balogun has made public life tip he learnt from the first lady, Senator Oluremi Tinubu.

Balogun announced the nugget in an interview he granted OYINMOMO TV, where he revealed that Mrs Tinubu and the President came to his aid when he had a serious accident in 2006 that left him bedridden for three months.

The couple’s gesture, according to the veteran thespian left a long lasting impression on him saying he was once moved to ask the first lady while going such lengths to see to his recovery.

His words, “When I had an accident. President Tinubu and his wife stepped in and asked that I be taken abroad for treatment. I was well treated in Nigeria. I asked aunty why she did it.

“She said, ‘You are a star of God, and they must not let your light dim.’ It was from her I learnt that if you take care of someone else’s child, God will take care of yours.”
