The police have launched a mobile app, called, “NPF Rescue Me App”.
The App is aimed at stemming the rising tide of insecurity.
Speaking at the launch, the Inspector-General of Police, Kayode Egbetokun, urged officers to avail themselves of the app in order to enhance their operations and improve service delivery to the citizens, adding that the force under him, will continue to engage cutting-edge technologies in the fight against crimes.
“This innovative mobile application provides a platform for citizens to quickly alert the Police Force in emergency situations, thereby facilitating prompt response and assistance.
“The ‘NPF Rescue Me App’ is available on both the ‘android’ and ‘ios’ application stores for free downloads and usage,” Egbetokun said.
