A member of the Kogi State House of Assembly, Jimoh Omiata, is dead.
Omiata until his demise at a Lagos hospital was the lawmaker representing Yagba Constituency in the State Assembly.
Report said, he died in the early hours of Monday after a brief illness, with his death generating several tributes on social media.
“Very sad, we lost a vibrant, articulate and outstanding lawmaker, Hon. Musa Jimoh Omiata, I sympathise with his immediate family, traditional rulers and people of Yagba East State Constituency, may Allah grant his soul perfect rest,” the Chief Press Secretary to the Kogi State House of Assembly Speaker, Femi Olugbemi posted on Facebook.
