Gov. Babajide Sanwo-Olu stated this on Monday at State House Marina during a press briefing where he said concealment of travel history by patients who were later found to recently arrive from hotspot of the virus was vile and endangering the lives of health workers.

Sanwo-Olu added that charges would be brought against such persons saying: “These patients do not only endanger their lives but the lives of our front line medical personnel, we already have some names and they will be prosecuted duly.

“We would, therefore, like to appeal to our health workers to raise alarm as soon as they notice anything of sort.”

The governor also said that the state would compulsory face masks wearing and is in the process of mass producing it with the view to distribute them to residents.
