Four persons operating a fake drinks factory in Lagos have been arrested.
The suspects’ arrest resulted from a raid of their factory located at Agege area of the state by the police.
The latter’s Public Relations Officer in the State Command, Benjamin Hundeyin, made this known via his X page on Thursday.
Hundeyin said the successful operation embarked on by the police followed a tip-off.
According to him, “Officers of Isokoko Division, acting on credible information, raided a house in Agege where fake alcoholic drinks were being produced.
“The police arrested four people behind the illegal distillery and recovered fake drinks, empty bottles, and labels of different brands. The investigation is ongoing.”
