Twenty-eight adults and twelve minors were on Thursday arraigned before a Lagos Magistrates’ Court for allegedly involving in homosexual activities.

Their alleged act, which is contrary to the law is punishable under Section 261 of the Criminal Law of Lagos State, 2015.
The accused, who are all males, were arrested last Saturday at Vintage Hotel, No. 999 Ikorodu Road/Toyin Close, Weigh Bridge, Owode Onirin, Lagos by men of the Lagos State Police Command in Owode Onirin area of the State.
They were arraigned separately on a one-count charge with adults brought before Yaba Magistrate’s Court while the minors were arraigned before Ebute-Metta Magistrates’ Court.
The accused who all pleaded not guilty were admitted to bail by Chief Magistrate Adewale Ojo and Segun Elias of Yaba and Ebute-Metta Magistrates’ Courts respectively.
