Lagos Politician Killed over house fence

A politician in Lagos, Hon. Samsondeen Ali, has been killed over a fence he set out to erect for security reasons at his residence at Precious Seed Community in Oworonshoki area of the state.

Ali, a former councillorship aspirant on the platform of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Ward B was murdered on Saturday in an argument that ensued between him and two louts over the said project.

The louts, Nurudeen Suraju and Lukmon Taiwo, also known as Bobalabe, as per report in general circulation demanded N5,000 from the politician as so-called Omo Onile’s fees before they would allow him proceed on the fence erection.

Trouble ensued when he disobliged them.

It started as a mere argument that dissolved into a free-for-all fight, with plank and shovel used by Suraju and Taiwo to hit the former Councillorship aspirant as a result of which he slumped and lost consciousness.

Report said consequently the battered politician was rushed to Afolabi Medical Hospital in the car belonging to one of his killers, Suraju.

The latter it was further gathered abandoned his vehicle and fled after the hospital medical staff remarked that Ali’s situation was beyond them and directed his conveyors to Gbagada General Hospital where he was pronounced dead on arrival.

This medium was told that Taiwo is equally on the run while the police have launched a manhunt for them.
