Greater Scholars International School in Ajah area of Lagos State has been shut following the defilement of a four-year-old pupil by its security guard, David James.
The latter had on April 27, 2023 under the guise of cleaning his victim up sexually abused her.
The sequel was that the vile act came to light and consequently the 23-year-old was arraigned before Mrs B.O Osunsanmi of Magistrate’s Court 1, Ogba, on one count of sexual assault, with the case adjourned to September 4, 2023.
Amid, there has been calls to close down the school to which the State government answered on Wednesday and shut it down.
The step soothed the victim’s parents, Mrs and Mr Olusola as the latter said in response to it: “This means Lagos State Government is working and is willing to do the right thing. We are happy that justice will be served.”
