A self-acclaimed pastor of Cherubim and Seraphim, Solution chapel in Osun state, Segun Philips, who confessed to slaughtering a final year student of the Lagos State University, Favour Oladele, after her boyfriend Owolabi Adeeko, smashed her head with a pestle has explained the motivation behind his own act.
Philips, who the leadership of Cherubim and Seraphim in Osun disowned on the grounds that he was not a member of the church has cited his desire to have a splendid Christmas celebration as the reason he introduced Adeeko to occult money ritual that would involve human sacrifice.
“It was because he needed ‘sharp sharp’ work. I have never used human being for money rituals before. That was my first trial. I did it because I also needed money to celebrate Christmas,” he told newsmen.
