The usual rallying celebrities and politicians for financial support to bring actors who die abroad to Nigeria for burial has however, been ruled out in the case of late actress Aisha Abimbola.

Late Aisha, aka Omoge Campus, died of cancer of the breast on Tuesday in Canada where he took up residence. The speculation that the mother-of-two would be flown to Nigeria for burial has been laid to rest by her colleague, Lola Alao.
Lola in a video of her posted on the Instagram page of fellow actress, Ronke Oshodi-Oke in certain terms, said Late Aisha was a Canadian citizen and would be buried in Canada.
She made it clear that the deceased’s family and her colleagues were not seeking any financial support from anyone for her burial.
