The Kwara-born actor in 2016 at a secret wedding in Lagos married starlet actress, Lizzie Berry.
Earlier, his marriage with Olayinka Solomon, the mother of his only child, Malik, ended in divorce and mutual recrimination with Solomon accusing him of wife battery, a charge he denied.
His second one to Salamatu, daughter of a former governor of Kwara State, and currently a senator, Shaaba Lafiagi, which was elaborately consummated in 2012 was also ill-fated with unconfirmed reports claiming that the cause of the break-up was that groom’s family felt angst about the poor living condition of the actor in Ikotun area of Lagos State
In an interview with Your View, a breakfast show on TVC, Ibrahim in an attempt to debunk claims that he was a wife beater hinted at how her marriage with Salamatu broke up.
He said, “Am not a wife beater, the only time i ever raised my hand against any of my exes was my first wife. And she was the one who first slapped me. As for Salamatu, we had no issue. She just stopped enjoying my company and stayed away from me.
“And when i called her sister, Gogo, who lived in Dubai on phone to complain, she(Gogo) said Salamatu told her she stopped loving me immediately after our Nikkah.”
