Another of his child, his daughter, Ozillia, who was also caught in the inferno and sustained burn injuries is presently at the Intensive Care Unit of the University of Calabar Teaching Hospital.

Three year-old Ozilla(pictured in the hospital with medical personnel) was reportedly abandoned in the hospital by his father, who was last seen at his sickbed about two months ago.

It was gathered that Adjissi was left so distraught after he was forced to marry his deceased wife, and may have returned to Benin Republic.

“From what I understand, the father is from Benin Republic and the mother was from Akwa Ibom State but they were not legally married before this incident. In addition to the grief of losing his family, he was made to marry the corpse of the mother before the burial,” a Good Samaritan, Mrs. Theresa Etido-Umoren, who helped to raise money for Ozilla said during her visit to UCH.
