A middle-aged medical doctor with Gumel General Hospital, known as Dr. Ifeanyi Eze (not in the midst of medical personnel pictured) was caught writing the last Saturday’s Joint Admission Matriculation Board (JAMB) examination for his wife in Jigawa state.
The Jigawa state command of Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC), said they have arrested a medical doctor for allegedly committing impersonation and examination malpractice at Lautai Science Secondary School Gumel, in Jigawa state.
The medical doctor, who is a native of Ebonyi state and works with the Gumel General Hospital was caught red-handed by the NSCDC personnel while writing the matriculation examination, known as JAMB, last Saturday.
The state commandant of Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps, Mr. Muhammad Gidado confirmed the arrest to journalists in Dutse, the state capital.
He said the suspect, who was identified as Dr. Ifeanyi Eze, sat to write the examination for his wife, Mrs. Ifeoma Eze at the Lautai Science Secondary School Gumel.
The commandant explained that the suspected couple, whom were caught with scripts number 45452644BC, confessed to committing the crime .
