Reports of the death of former world heavyweight boxing champion, Mike Tyson, has been dismissed as mere rumor by his representatives.
Tyson’s rumoured gathered momentum on Thursday, as millions of his fans in Nigeria and all over the world passed their R.I.P. messages via the social media.
However, Star Mag, America’s popular celebrity, fashion, news, and gossip exclusives magazine, dismissing the news as Internet Rumor, on its cover page report said: “Mike Tyson is the latest celeb to fall victim to a death hoax.”
Star Mag pointed out that the news had not been carried on any major American network, indicating that it was a fake report, as the death of a boxer of Mike Tyson’s stature would be major news across networks.
