The Bello family have been throwing into mourning after their daughter, Adewura Lateefat, who went missing twelve days ago, was found dead.
Lateefat, a 26-year-old accounting graduate of University of Lagos, who was in the employ of an unnamed organisation, was last sighted by her colleague who dropped her off at Medical Road, opposite Ikeja bus terminal.

Consequently, her family and friends took to social media to raise the alarm about her disappearance and reported the matter to the police prompting a massive manhunt launched for her.
In the course of the search, Lateefat’s phone which was tracked by the police was traced to Badagry but latest report has it that she has been found dead at a canal in Iyana Ipaja.
According to a Twitter user, @OfficiallBmax, who broke the news, Lateefat’s body was discovered in a canal.
Report said the police are not suspecting foul play after investigation revealed that on the fateful day the deceased boarded a motorcycle in the downpour to hasten her journey home.
However, Late Lateefat and the Okada rider ended up being swept away by the flood. The motorcyclist was said to have survived, but she was unlucky.
