The Special Adviser to the Executive Governor of Benue State on Documentation, Research, and Planning, Dr. Mkor Aondona, has been arrested for alleged sextortion and cyber bully.
Aondona’s arrest was made by operatives of the Makurdi Zonal Directorate of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC).
The latter acted on the strength of a petition authored by some female students who accused the governor’s aide of routinely recruiting slim and attractive girls for ushering jobs and would insist on sleeping with them.
The petitioners alleged that while having his way with the ladies Aondona would video the erotic moments without procuring the consents of the partners, and later use the clips to blackmail his victims.
Report has it that the arrest was made on Friday, 20 June, 2025, adding that the suspect will have his days in court.
