The Chief Corporate Communications Officer of the Nigerian National Petroleum Company Limited (NNPCL), Olufemi Soneye, has announced his resignation from the organisation.

Soneye assumed the office about two years.

“I wish to inform you that I have stepped aside from my role as Chief Corporate Communications Officer of NNPC Ltd. This decision will allow me to devote more time to my family and attend to personal responsibilities that now require my closer presence,” he posted on his Facebook handle on Saturday.

NNPCL has come under a new regime as the board was recently reconstituted by President Bola Tinubu with a new Group Chief Executive Officer (GCEO) in the person of Engineer Bashir Bayo Ojulari now in the saddle.
