President Muhammadu Buhari has paid compliments on the situation in Nigeria in terms of Nigerians meeting their food need.
Buhari reportedly said that Nigerians fare better in comparison to nationals of some countries in the matter of having something to eat.
This is part of the President’s remarks at the lunch held in his honour at the Kano State Government’s House on Monday, as per a statement his Special Adviser on Media and Publicity, Femi Adesina released.
“We have a great country, but we do not appreciate it until we visit our neighbours and other countries where the preoccupation is for people to have one good meal a day,” Adesina quoted his principal as saying.
