Commissioner for Health in Edo State, Dr. Samuel Alli, has been sacked.
A statement by the Secretary to the State Government, Osarodion Ogie, announced his dismissal by Governor Godwin Obaseki.
The governor, according to Ogie, directed Dr. Alli to hand over all official documents and resources to the most senior officer in the ministry of health.
The decision, the statement added, is part of Governor Obaseki’s commitment to ensuring optimal service delivery in the remaining four months of his administration.
