Nollywood actor, Obi Madubogwo died of diabetes complication on Monday afternoon after a long sickbed.

According to reports, Madubogwo battled leg ulcer caused by diabetes Mellitus for a long while to the point surgeons suggested the option of amputating the leg.
The deceased, who was known for his role as ‘King of Musanga’ in the epic, Battle of Musanga, was at a time hospitalised at Federal Medical Centre, Ebute-Metta Yaba. At one point, his friends, relations and colleagues drew the attention of the public to his ill-health as they sought financial supports for his medical bills.
Veteran producer, Chidi Nwokeabia, confirmed Madubogwo’s death on social media via a WhatsApp group called Film4Life, writing, “Obi is dead, We just spoke to the wife. He developed fever yesterday, went to the hospital this morning, had complications and died. The family will be taking the corpse home tomorrow.”
