A former permanent secretary in Ogun State, Engr. Adefemi Egbeoluwa, and his wife, Funmi, have been killed in their Ikeja home in Lagos State.

Their maid was equally in critical condition from the beating she received from the assailants, who invaded the residence, according to report.

The incident happened on March 18.

The account in general circulation said, the aged couple were found dead at their residence off Bamishile Street, Allen, Ikeja, with their maid unconscious by neighbours acting on suspicion that something untoward happened in the house.

The neighbours found it so, with marks of violence on the trio’s bodies and the aged couple lying dead in the pool of their blood while the maid was between life-and-death situation.

Present report said, the maid has regained consciousness just as the police have launched investigation into the matter with the view to find the perpetrators and bring them to justice.

A relative of the deceased and Facebook user, Omoniyi Omolara Oluwafunmilayo, in her tribute to the deceased posted on her wall, wrote; “On Saturday I drove past Aeroplane house n I said I was gonna call u…it skipped my mind..my mum called me all tru yesterday but noticed I haven’t heard of how u were murdered…until today…Eng Matthew Egbeoluwa Eng Adefemi Egbeoluwa rest in peace Uncle. May the killers of u n ur wife never know rest.”
