Operatives of the Ogun State Police Command have reportedly been accused of having an underhanded deals with kidnappers.
Recall that health workers in the employ of the State government are on strike following the earlier abduction of two of their colleagues, who have regained their freedom.
However, as per Punchng.com, a prominent figure in the negotiation that led to the release of the two health workers said the kidnappers and the police are in cahoots.
“The experience is not what we should be talking about. There was connivance between police and the kidnappers. They are in the know of the situation. Our people (the abducted health workers) told us that the kidnappers told them everything we told the police,” the source told the paper.
