The National Chairman of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP), Prince Uche Secondus on Monday led members of the party’s National Working Committee to meet with former Military President, General Ibrahim Babangida in Minna.
The meeting was coming on the heel of Babangida’s endorsement of the Social Democratic Party, SDP.
It was held behind closed doors in the presence of members of the Niger state working committee of the party led by the Chairman, Barrister Tanko Beji at the Uphill Residence of the former military leader.
A chieftain of the party at the meeting told newsmen after it, that Prince Secondus intimated the elder Statesman on party’s preparation for the Osun and Ekiti states governorship election.
