Ousted Peoples Democratic Party National chairman, Ali Modu Sheriff, on Thursday, gave his first public indication that he is about to join the ruling All Progressive Congress, APC.
The former Governor of Borno State visited Aso Rock Presidential Villa, Abuja, to meet Vice-President Yemi Osinbajo, and the chairman of the All Progressives Congress, Chief John Odigie-Oyegun.

According to report, Sheriff arrived at Osinbajo’s office at about 3.30pm, and moment, after he was joined by Oyegun, the trio, went into a closed-door meeting.
What was deliberated upon was not publicly disclosed by any of the party when they came out of venue.
However, it is believed what was high on the agenda of the meeting was Sheriff’s purported move to join APC.
Reports had been rife that the APC had approached Sheriff to join its fold, but the Borno State chapter of the APC had vehemently denied it.
It will be recalled that Sheriff’s supporters in Delta State led by former deputy national chairman of the PDP, Dr. Cairo Ojougboh, recently decamped to APC.
