Pictures have emerged of alleged drug baron, Chief Aloy Ikegwuonu aka Bishop, linked to the brutal killings of about thirty five worshippers inside St Philip’s Catholic Church, Amakwa Ozubulu in Ekwusigo Local Government Area of Anambra State on Sunday.

Just recently Chief Ikegwuonu single handedly built a multi-billion naira church, which he named after himself, St Aloysius Church of Divine Mercy at Ozubulu in Anambra.
Gunmen had stormed St Philip’s Catholic Church, a church 36-year-old Chief Ikegwuonu contributed immensely to the construction killing no fewer than 35 worshippers and injuring scores of others.
One of the casualties was his father, Pa Ikegwuonu. Mother of the controversial businessman was also shot at and currently hospitalised.
The assailants were said to have traced their target(Chief Ikegwuonu) to the church after he arrived Ozubulu from South Africa on Saturday.
The dastardly act was reportedly a fall out of a drug war between him and another drug kingpin popularly known as Obrocho.
Source said the duo who live in South Africa have been at daggers drawn since over three years ago after a drug deal between the gangs they led went messy.
The recent killings of Nigerians suspected to be into drug in Vereeniging, a city in South Africa, was also linked to their fight.
So also, unconfirmed sources told OrijoReporters that not few persons linked to the warring drug gangs have been killed in Festac area of Lagos State in recent time.
