The police have launched investigation into the suicide of a banker with Globus Bank, Amarachi Ugochukwu.
The latter, a staff member in the Ikorodu branch of the bank in Lagos was found dead in her office’s toilet with insecticide and suicide note beside her on the floor.
The scene pointed to suicide while in the note the 32-year-old complained of finding life difficult.
However, the police are not ruling out foul play.
This is according to Punchng, citing Police Public Relations Officer, Benjamin Hundeyin.
“The case is now at the homicide section of the State Criminal Investigation Department in Yaba,” it quoted Hundeyin as saying.
