President Bola Tinubu has said that Nigeria is not a country that is “cursed” but “blessed”.
Tinubu’s spokesman Ajuri Ngelale ascribed those words to him in a statement he released on Friday.
In it, Ngelale related what went down at the meeting between his principal and
governors elected on the platform of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) under the aegis of the Progressive Governors Forum (PGF) at the State House in Abuja.
Quoting the President, the spokesman wrote: “We have no reason to be poor. Looking back on where we are coming from, where we have been, why we are facing infrastructural decay, a lack of quality and comprehensive education, as well as a lack of health facilities. We are not a cursed country, but blessed.”
