The Police has arrested a suspect in connection with the deaths of gospel artiste, Matthew Ogundele, blogger, Matthew Awosanya, popularly known as JoesTv, Itunu Ogundele and Joseph Sanya.
The deceased were found dead inside a music studio in Ajah area of Lagos State.
The melancholy event occurred last Wednesday inside a studio located within HFP Shopping Complex at Abraham Adesanya axis of Ajah.
The narrative around their deaths has it that the studio owner, Akintayo Akinbola’s wife organised a birthday praise programme where the deceased were part of gospel music crew.
The event went deep into the night on Tuesday and on conclusion the four guys decided to sleep in the studio and were found dead by Akinbola who forced the door opened on Wednesday morning after calling them to unlock it to no success, report said.
It stated further that a generator placed directly opposite the studio door could be responsible for their death while no visible signs of violence was found on their bodies and blood was coming out of their nostrils.
However, foul play which gained traction with many commentators and the basis of ongoing police investigation has not been ruled out.
