An Adamawa youth leader, identified as Thomas Godwin and popularly known as ‘Zamfara,’ has been killed.
Godwin was murdered by assailants who attacked him on his way home on Tuesday evening, April 15, 2025.
Report said his killers attacked him with sticks and clubs.
Reacting to the murder, Suleiman Nguroje, the Police Public Relations Officer for the state command said the police have launched investigation into it.
“The Deputy Commissioner of Police in charge of Investigation (DC SCID) has been directed to lead the investigation. A team of detectives has been deployed to ensure that the perpetrators are identified and brought to justice,” Nguroje stated in a statement he released.
