Embattled Dean of Law Faculty, University of Calabar, Prof Cyril Ndifon, has reportedly been Kidnapped.
Ndifon is under nvestigation for allegedly being found of sexually assaulting female students in the law faculty.
The allegation attracted wide attention when female students in the faculty carried placards with various inscriptions bordering on the charges in protest of his appointment as the Dean.
It has led to the professor’s suspension by the university authorities and a probe panel set up to investigate the matter.
While he has shunned invitation by the panel, the latest report, going by his son, is that Ndifon was abducted by gunmen at his Akpabuyo residence in Akpabuyo Local Government Area of Cross River State.
David said the incident happened on Thursday when gunmen invaded their residence, and took the patriarch away at gunpoint.
Before now, Ndifon raised the alarm saying some persons were on his trail with the view to abduct him.
