Canada-based Nigerian woman, Prophetess Ezinne Nwanorue, has sparked outrage after celebrating the death of her mother-in-law, Comfort Nwanorue, whom she described as a “wicked witch” in a Facebook post.
Prophetess Ezinne Nwanorue shared her late mother-in-law’s funeral poster on Monday, declaring that she would “rest in pieces in hell” and accusing her of trying to destroy her destiny.
She also warned others she described as witches and wizards to repent or face God’s judgment.
The post drew mixed reactions, with many condemning her for celebrating the death of a family member.
Ezinne previously went viral after making her husband’s relocation to Canada conditional on him publicly swearing never to cheat on her.
In a widely shared video, Franklin Nwanorue vowed that if he was unfaithful after arriving in Canada, “let me die in the name of Jesus.”
She later alleged that he broke the oath by having an affair with another woman.
Her latest post has renewed public attention on the family’s ongoing dispute.
