Osun Governor, Ademola Adeleke, has expressed his determination to stand his ground in matter of his signature which are singing and dancing.

Recall that the governor had a seeming face-off with the President Bola Tinubu’s wife, Remi, during the conferment of the chieftaincy title, Yeye Asiwaju on the first lady in Ile-Ife by the Ooni of Ife, Oba Adeyeye Ogunwusi.

For context, Adeleke was on the podium to deliver a speech but in preamble went into singing.

His action prompted Mrs Tinubu to abandon her seat and walked up to the governor to chastise him, threatened to off the mic if he didn’t go straight to his speech.

The moment’s video which went viral sparked conflicting public views.

Speaking on Wednesday during an interview on Channels Television’s Politics Today, the governor said nothing could stop him from both arts.

“Let me tell you something: I will keep dancing because I love to dance, I love to praise my God. That doesn’t change anything.

“Everybody has their way of relaxing or hobby. My hobby is to dance and praise my God. That does not affect my work,” he stated.
